Hair-Quake by Mariskova

I never thought that a hair would bring some mess like what happened to Andita. 

Andita was an English teacher who really concerned about her hair. Not because her hair was so nice, but because her hair was different from the other, with a curl, black and hard to make it neat. She spent an hour just to take care of her hair everyday. 

One day Andita saw her face on a famous female magazine. More shocked because of the comment under her photograph said : Not recommended hair style. She was so mad about it, she decided to throw the temper to the salon who cut her hair that way. The reason was she never knows that they were taking picture of her in that time. Second, she wanted to get a good impression, she wanted to get angry to the person who cut  the hair that way.  She even didn’t listen to Ferry who was her best friend. Ferry was a married guy who always protecting and understanding her. Ferry didn’t believe that his best friend have more consideration on her hair. Badly consider. For Andita : “Better hair bring better day”. And she really believes that.

In the salon, she met someone who really attract her attention. His name was Prasta. They often meet  in the barber, and lately become good friend. Prasta had a fiancée, and working as a lawyer in his father company. Andita started to fall to this man,  feel sad whenever see Prasta go away or picked up by his fiancée, Shirley. Meanwhile, Prasta fell in love with Andita too. But he did it silently. His engagement was a parent set up. In the end, he decided to talk to her father and break the engagement. But he keep misunderstand about Andita and think that Ferry was Andita’s boyfriend. 

One day, an accident happened.  Andita become bald. Want to know what had happened? May I suggest you something? Read this book and you will know. I don’t want to talk about every detail of the story in this novel, but  I want to give my comment. I really hate the ending. Because Prasta misunderstood about Ferry and Andita relationship, he decided not to bother Andita and hope for Andita-Ferry happiness.  Prasta goes to Netherland and study there. What a nice misunderstanding!
